11. Agreement and Acceptance

By accessing or using ShowRave, including creating an account, posting events, or purchasing tickets, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform. These terms form a legally binding agreement between you and ShowRave.

22. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create a ShowRave account. By registering, you confirm that you are at least 16 and that the information you provide is accurate. If you are accepting these terms on behalf of a business or organization, you represent that you have the authority to do so.

33. Account Registration

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Do not share your password.
• You must provide accurate and complete registration information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• ShowRave reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we believe have been compromised.

44. Event Organizers

If you post events on ShowRave, you additionally agree to the following:

• Accuracy of Event InformationYou are solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all event details, including dates, times, venue, pricing, and descriptions. ShowRave is not liable for errors or omissions in event listings.
• Legal ComplianceYou must hold all necessary licences, permits, and authorisations required to run your event in its jurisdiction. You are responsible for compliance with all applicable laws, including health and safety regulations.
• Ticket FulfilmentBy selling tickets through ShowRave, you commit to fulfilling the event as advertised. If you cancel or materially alter an event, you are responsible for communicating this to ticket holders and for handling refunds in accordance with our Refund Policy.
• Prohibited EventsYou may not list events that promote illegal activity, incite violence, discriminate against protected groups, or violate ShowRave's Community Guidelines.

55. Ticket Purchases

• Binding PurchaseA ticket purchase constitutes a contract between you and the event organizer. ShowRave facilitates the transaction but is not a party to that contract.
• Ticket UseTickets are non-transferable unless the organizer permits transfer. Reselling tickets above face value is prohibited on the ShowRave platform.
• Entry RequirementsEvent organizers may set their own entry requirements (ID, age verification, dress code, etc.). ShowRave is not responsible for denied entry resulting from failure to meet organizer requirements.

66. Payments and Fees

• Free events carry no fees for either organizers or attendees.
• For paid events, a service fee is applied to each ticket sale. The fee amount is displayed at checkout before purchase.
• Organizer payouts are processed to the bank account provided, in the currency specified, within the timeframe stated in the organizer dashboard.
• ShowRave reserves the right to withhold or delay payouts in cases of suspected fraud, chargebacks, or policy violations, pending investigation.

77. Refunds and Cancellations

Refund eligibility depends on the circumstances of the cancellation or request. Full details, including timeframes and organizer obligations, are set out in our Refund Policy.

88. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use ShowRave for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Submit false, misleading, or deceptive event listings or reviews
• Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the platform without our written permission
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, server, or system
• Transmit malware, spam, or any harmful code through the platform
• Harass, abuse, or impersonate other users or platform staff
• Use automated means to interact with the platform without prior approval

99. Intellectual Property

ShowRave and its licensors own all intellectual property rights in the platform, including its design, software, branding, and content. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission. You retain ownership of content you submit (event descriptions, images) but grant ShowRave a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and distribute it in connection with the platform.

1010. Platform Availability

We strive to keep ShowRave available and performant at all times. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access and are not liable for downtime resulting from maintenance, infrastructure issues, or events beyond our control. We will communicate planned maintenance where practical.

1111. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShowRave shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform. ShowRave is a marketplace facilitator; we are not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or fulfilment of events listed by organizers. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to ShowRave in the 12 months preceding the claim.

1212. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ShowRave and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, damages, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the platform, your event listings, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

1313. Termination

You may close your account at any time. ShowRave may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, for breaches of these terms, fraudulent activity, or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including payment obligations, intellectual property rights, limitations of liability, and dispute resolution, will continue to apply.

1414. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes will be resolved through the platform's dispute resolution process in the first instance. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be submitted to the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.

1515. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the platform or by other reasonable means. Continued use of ShowRave after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
