Understanding how attendees discover events helps you make better decisions about your event listing, category, and promotion.
The Explore page
The Explore page is our main event directory. Attendees browse all publicly listed events here. They can filter by date using options like Happening today, This week, or This month.
Category pages
Each event category has its own page, for example, showrave.com/music or showrave.com/comedy. Attendees land on these pages from ShowRave and from search engines. Your event appears on the category page matching the category you selected at creation.
Search
The search page lets attendees search by keyword, event name, or organiser. Using a specific, descriptive event name makes it easier for attendees to find your event through search. See How to optimise your event page for search.
Direct links
Many attendees reach events via direct links shared on social media, messaging apps, email, or printed materials. Your event's direct URL and short link are the most reliable way to send people directly to your event page.
Saved events and notifications
Attendees can bookmark events they are interested in. When they save an event, they may receive notifications. Buyers who have purchased tickets to your events in the past are in your contact list and can be reached directly through the messaging system.
