If you sent a ticket transfer but the recipient has not accepted it yet, you can cancel it. Once cancelled, the ticket returns to active status on your account as if no transfer was initiated.
Cancel a pending transfer
- Log in and go to the Tickets section of your account.
- Open the ticket with the pending transfer. It will show the message: "Transfer pending for [email]. The ticket remains yours until they accept."
- Click Cancel transfer.
You will see the confirmation: "Transfer cancelled." The transfer invitation sent to the recipient is immediately invalidated, they can no longer accept it using the link they received.
When cancellation is not possible
You cannot cancel a transfer after the recipient has accepted it. Once accepted, the ticket has moved to the recipient's account and is no longer on yours. If you need to resolve a situation where a completed transfer was made in error, contact us via the contact page.
After cancelling
