How to Accept a Ticket Transfer

When someone sends you a ShowRave ticket, you receive an email with a secure link to accept it. The original ticket is voided when you accept, and a new ticket is issued to your account.

Accept the transfer

  1. Open the email invitation you received.
  2. Click the accept link in the email. You will be taken to the Accept ticket transfer page.
  3. The page shows "Review this ticket transfer before accepting it." with the event details and the name of the person sending the ticket.
  4. If you are not already signed in with the email address the invitation was sent to, you will be asked to sign in or create an account. It must be the same email address the transfer was sent to.
  5. Click Accept transfer.

You will see the confirmation: "Ticket transfer accepted." Click View ticket to see your new ticket. The ticket will also appear in the Tickets section of your ShowRave account.

If the transfer link is not working

  • "Sign in with the invited email address": The transfer can only be accepted using the email address the invitation was sent to. Log out and sign in with the correct account.
  • "This transfer invitation has expired": The sender's transfer window has closed. They will need to initiate a new transfer.
  • "This transfer is no longer pending": The transfer was either cancelled by the sender or already accepted. Contact the sender for clarification.
  • "This transfer invitation is not valid": The link may be incorrect or the transfer was cancelled. Check that you are using the original link from the most recent invitation email.
