If an event's tickets are sold out, you can join the waitlist to be notified if they become available again. Each ticket type has its own waitlist, so you join for the specific ticket you want.
Join the waitlist
- Go to the event page.
- Find the ticket type you want. If it is sold out, a Join Waitlist button appears in place of the quantity selector.
- Click Join Waitlist.
- If multiple ticket types are sold out, a picker appears first, select the ticket type you want to be notified for.
- A confirmation modal opens titled Join the waitlist, showing the message: "We will let you know if this ticket becomes available again. Tickets are first come, first served."
- Click Notify me.
You will see the confirmation: "You have joined the waitlist for this ticket."
You need to be logged in
Joining a waitlist requires a account. If you are not logged in, the modal will show: "Log in or create an account to join this waitlist." Log in or register, then return to the event page and join again.
What happens when tickets become available
If the organiser releases more tickets for the type you joined, for example, by adding capacity or when existing orders are cancelled, you will receive a notification. Availability is first come, first served, so buy as soon as you receive the notification.
The notification covers only the specific ticket type you joined. If a different ticket type on the same event opens up, you will not receive a notification for it unless you also joined that waitlist separately.
Leaving the waitlist
Each notification email includes an unsubscribe link. Clicking it removes you from the waitlist for that ticket type. This only affects the specific waitlist, it does not unsubscribe you from other emails.
