Creating An Event

How to Duplicate an Existing Event

Creating An Event Created: Today

If you run recurring events, you can create a new event based on a previous one instead of starting from scratch. A draft is created copying the details from the original so you can update the date and make any changes before publishing.

Duplicate a past event

  1. In the organiser sidebar, go to My Events and select Old Events. This lists your past and expired events.
  2. Find the event you want to reuse and click Use as new draft.
  3. A modal appears titled Create draft from old event. Enter the New event date for the upcoming event.
  4. Click Create draft.

You will see the confirmation: "Draft created from old event." The draft appears in My Events → Drafts. Open it, update any details that have changed, venue, performers, ticket prices, and publish when ready.

What is copied

The draft copies the event name, description, location, images, and other details from the original. Ticket tiers and AddOns are not automatically copied, you will need to add them again in the draft before publishing.

Duplicating a live event

Duplicating is only available from the Old Events section. If you want to create a similar event to one that is currently live, note down the details and create a new event manually, or wait until the existing event has passed and appears in Old Events.
