We generate an embed code for your event page that you can paste into any website. Visitors to your site will see the event widget inline without leaving your site first.
Generate the embed code
- Go to your event widget page in the organiser dashboard.
- In the Create widget embed code section, paste your full event URL into the Event URL field, for example,
https://showrave.com/event/my-event. - Click Generate code.
- Your Embed code will appear. Click Copy embed code.
Add it to your website
- Open your website's page editor or HTML source.
- Paste the embed code where you want the widget to appear on the page.
- Save and publish the page.
The widget displays your event details and a booking button inline. When a visitor clicks to buy tickets, they are taken to the checkout.
Requirements
- Your event must be public and published. Private events cannot be embedded.
- The embed code is a standard HTML iframe. Most website builders and CMS platforms that allow custom HTML blocks support it.
When to use a direct link instead
For simple sharing, social media, email, WhatsApp, a direct link to your event page is usually better than embedding. The widget is most useful on an existing website where you want ticket sales to feel integrated. See How to get your event short link for sharing links.
