If you selected the wrong category when creating your event, or if your event type has changed, you can update the category at any time from the edit page.
Change the event category
- In the organiser sidebar, go to My Events → Live Events.
- Find your event and click Edit.
- In the edit form, find the Category dropdown and select the correct category.
- Click Save changes.
The category update takes effect immediately. Your event will appear on the updated category page, and the old category page listing will be removed.
Choosing the right category
Your event's category determines which category page it appears on, for example, a music event appears on showrave.com/music.
