A VIP ticket is a standard ticket tier with a higher price and a limited quantity. It works the same way as any other tier, the name, price, and description are what set it apart on your event page.
Create a VIP tier
- Open the ticket creation form, either on the Tickets & AddOns step when creating your event, or from My Events → Live Events → Manage Tickets on an existing event.
- In the Ticket Name field, enter a name such as "VIP" or "VIP Access".
- Set Available Tickets to a small number to keep VIP exclusive, for example, 10 to 20% of your total capacity.
- Set the Maximum number of tickets for each customer if needed.
- Write a clear Description stating exactly what the VIP ticket includes, for example, reserved front-row seating, early entry, or a welcome drink. Buyers need to know what they are paying for.
- Set a higher Ticket Price than your standard admission tier.
- Click Submit.
Make your VIP description specific
The description field is the only place on the ticket listing where you can explain what VIP means at your event. A vague description reduces conversions. Be concrete: "Reserved seating in row A, separate entry lane, complimentary drink on arrival" will always outperform "VIP experience".
VIP and reserved seating
If your VIP tier includes specific seats, you can link it to a seating zone. See How to assign ticket prices to seating zones and How to enable reserved seating.
